Welcome to Bourbon and House. Founded in 2013, Bourbon and House started out as a few YouTube video reviews that eventually manifested into the concept of a blog where I could share my passion, love and thoughts on the world of Bourbon, Rye and Single Malt from the view point of the Bay Area.  I also look forward to sharing with you many of the great establishments in the Bay Area where you can find a great glass, cocktail or bottle of the ‘Water of Life.’

Most importantly, I want everyone who visits this blog to know that Bourbon and House is a place where I’m simply sharing my thoughts and opinions.  That’s it.  I don't think my views are better than anyone else’s, I don’t consider myself an expert or a professional.  I don’t posses the depth of  knowledge or have the experience of the likes of Chuck Cowdery, Jim Murray or Ralfy.  I don’t accept money or perks as compensation for altered reviews.  I’m just a guy with the sole intention of sharing my passion and love for bourbon, rye, single malt, and whisk(e)y in general, with all of you.  If you disagree with me, please share - whiskey is 100% subjective so i’d love any and all feedback, thoughts and opinions.  After all, that’s the beauty of whiskey -  their is no right or wrong.  I am a firm believer in that and try to not let the views, opinions, hype and general snobbish douchebaggery that sometimes penetrates the rapidly expanding whiskey world, effect me or my thoughts.
